Job Summary
Responsible for performing maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, while also serving as the company’s certified chargeman to oversee electrical systems and ensure compliance with statutory electrical safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including control panels, wiring, and motor systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
Fulfill the duties of a chargeman as required under local electrical safety regulations.
Ensure all electrical installations and operations comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Support production by responding to machine breakdowns in a timely manner.
Liaise with external parties (e.g., TNB, DOSH, electrical inspectors) when necessary.
Assist in continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives within the plant.
Job Requirements
Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate (AO).
Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic field.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety standards.
Familiar with machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Willing to work on shifts or overtime as required.
