Techinical Engineer
Job Summary
The Technical Engineer supports project coordination, prepares technical documents, and ensures compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all site construction activities.
- Review and prepare technical documentation, including method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
- Monitor procurement lead times and manage delivery of critical materials and equipment.
- Coordinate all drawings, design revisions, and documentation for consultant and client approval.
- Ensure all works comply with contract specifications, standards, and design intent.
- Track and monitor construction progress against the approved program and report deviations or delays.
- Work closely with subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams on all technical and project-related matters.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Support quality assurance (QA/QC) and safety compliance activities on site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical drawings, and project coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD; familiarity with MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
