SURVEYOR
Job Summary
The Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate site measurements, establishing control points, and ensuring surveying activities meet safety, legal, and quality standards. The role plays a critical part in supporting construction works by providing precise data, maintaining instruments, and coordinating closely with the site team and management.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all site measurements, levels, and alignments are accurate and properly documented.Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks for horizontal and vertical alignments.
- Ensure surveying works comply with safety, legal, and quality standards.
- Regularly calibrate, test, and maintain surveying instruments and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain records, drawings, and reports of survey results.
- Collaborate with site engineers and construction teams to provide accurate data for project execution.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor/management in line with the role and business requirements.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Surveyor in construction projects.
- Proficient in using surveying instruments (e.g., total station, GPS, auto level).
- Strong knowledge of surveying methods, calculations, and site procedures.
- Ability to interpret and work with construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong awareness of safety and compliance requirements.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
