Site Engineer
Job Summary
To oversee construction activities, coordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, supervise subcontractors, ensure compliance with specifications, and support project meetings and inspections.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate project site issues effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
- Supervise and monitor site activities, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources such as materials, manpower, and machinery.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors and general workers, ensuring adherence to project planning and monitoring work progress.
- Attend all meetings and inspections related to the project.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with construction drawings and engineer instructions.
- Perform additional duties or tasks assigned by superiors as required.
Job Requirements
1. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management, or any related field.
2. PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION/OTHER RELEVANT CERTIFICATION
- Not Applicable.
3. WORKING EXPERIENCES
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in site management within the construction industry.
- Fresh graduated candidates are welcome to apply.
4. KEY/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management principles including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with contractors, workers, and clients.
- Ability to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve site issues promptly.
