Senior Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager – Finance to lead the finance function and drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, and performance management across the organization.

The work coverage as follow;

  1. BG group reporting requirement.
  2. CHBM Shared Service accounts.
  3. Supply Chain Finance Business Partner

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and amalgamate of financial reports for the Business Group and its respective Business Units.
  • Coordinate the compilation of annual budgets across the Business Group and Business Units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Support the preparation of monthly Executive Committee (ExCo) meeting papers with relevant financial insights and analysis.
  • Drive timely and accurate submission of monthly management accounts by Business Units, identifying and addressing gaps in reporting timelines and processes.
  • Oversee the monthly shared services billing and ensure timely closure of shared Service accounts.
  • Collaborate with Operations Heads to initiate and lead supply chain finance standardisation across manufacturing units, focusing on consistent product costing methodologies and inventory management practices to meet desired reporting timeline.
  • Partner with Business Unit CEOs/COOs and Finance (Record-to-Report) teams in the budgeting process, including product costing, Bill of Materials (BOM) for raw material usage, and overhead cost allocation.
  • Lead cost analysis initiatives for Business Units, producing effective manufacturing reports that compare actual expenses against standards and evaluate cost per metric ton (MT) or cubic meter (m³) of operations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal control policies and procedures, implement robust accounting control systems, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a professional degree in Finance or Accounting, or hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, MIA, MICPA).
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment with strong exposure to manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and inventory control.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
