Branch Manager
Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Penang branch operations, focusing on driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring the profitability of AAC products (such as wall panels, blocks, flooring, and other building solutions). This role requires strong leadership, market development experience, and a deep understanding of the construction and building materials industry.
Job Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
- Identify and build relationships with key accounts including developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and distributors.
- Promote AAC products and system solutions through presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to strengthen market positioning.
- Manage project pipelines and follow up from lead generation to order fulfillment.
2. Marketing & Brand Development
- Plan and implement regional marketing initiatives, events, and promotions to enhance brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the HQ marketing team for campaigns, exhibitions, and digital marketing activities.
- Provide market feedback on customer needs, product performance, and potential product improvements.
3. Branch Operations Management
- Oversee daily branch operations including sales administration, logistics coordination, and customer service.
- Ensure efficient communication and coordination between branch and HQ departments (Production, Technical, Finance, etc.).
- Manage inventory, delivery schedules, and project site support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor branch budget, expenses, and profitability performance.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate the branch sales and support team to achieve performance targets.
- Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Build a positive, accountable, and results-driven branch culture.
- Identify training needs and support staff development programs.
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Represent the company professionally in all dealings with customers and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferably Degree Holder or minimum diploma holder
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the construction materials industry (AAC, precast, cement, concrete, or related).
- Strong network among developers, contractors, and consultants in the northern region.
- Proven track record in project sales and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Based in Penang, with willingness to travel within the northern region.
